- Select Popcast
- By default the option selected is Popcast At Home Tab
- Click on the expand button on Select Cohorts to get the different options to select cohorts
- Select Cohorts
In this section, the user defines a population based on their desired criteria. The user can select criteria from the following tabs:- Saved Audiences (Has a list of already saved audiences)
- Population
- Consumer Profiles
- Prizm Premier
- A list of saved audiences can be viewed if there are any under the saved audiences tab
- Else new audience sets can be created by clicking on the create new link which takes the user to the population tab.
- User can also create new audiences by going to the population tab directly.
- User selects target characteristics to select specific audience in the Population Tab
- The options available are
- Demographics
- Age
- Ethnicity
- Hispanic
- Non-Hispanic
- Gender
- Male
- Female
- Race
- White
- Black or African American
- Asian
- American Indian/Alaskan Native
- Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander
- Other Race persons
- Household profile
- Income
- Behaviors
- Employment
- Demographics
- User clicks on APPLY to see the changes in the map and Geography Set displayed on the right
- User can enter a name for the audiences selected and click on save to save the audience set for future use
- This saved audience will appear under Saved Audiences tab
- User can alternatively click on Save Audiences button which brings up a pop up window where user can enter the name of the audience to be saved and click on the save button.
- Select Customer profiles from the Customer profiles tab. Only one profile can be selected at any point in time. Click apply to view the geography set.
- Users can choose to save the customer profile as an audience.
- User clicks on Save audience button which brings up a popup window and prompts to enter the audience name
- On clicking save, the audience name is saved and will appear under saved audiences tab
- Users can select Prizm Premier categories in the Prizm Premier tab. Only one profile can be selected at any point in time. Click apply to view the geography set
- Users can choose to save the customer profile as an audience.
- User clicks on Save audience button which brings up a popup window and prompts to enter the audience name
- On clicking save, the audience name is saved and will appear under saved audiences tab
- Once the user has selected their criteria for a population, they select how their market size should appear on the map from the following options.
- The user clicks on the down arrow to see what options are available
- DMA: Designated Market Area
- CBSA: Core Based Statistical Area
- State: State
- County: division of territories in a specific state
- Postal Code: Zip Codes
- User makes their choices and clicks on the Apply button to save changes
- Select Market (s)
In this section, the user defines the type of market they want to focus on from the following choices:- State
- DMA
- CBSA
- County
- Postal Code
- The choices are based on the population selected

- Select the required markets
- Markets can be selected individually or as Top 10 / Top 20
- Click Apply to view the Mapped Geography Set.
- The Mapped Geography Set appears on the right hand side of the page.
In the geography set section, the user can view a summary of their geography set and determine how the information appears:
- Composition Percentage: High-Low: default setting
- Composition Percentage: Low-High
- Composition Index: Low-High
- Composition Index: High-Low
- Target Population: High-Low
- Target Population: Low-High
- Total Population: High-Low
Additionally, the user can filter by the how much of the type of market (DMA, CBSA, or County), they want to view:
- All: Default Setting
- Top 100
- Top 50
- Top 25
- Custom
- For markets that the user will use often, save the desired parameters as a Geography Set by clicking the floppy disk icon.
- The Save a Geography Set popup appears. Complete the fields for Type Geography Set Name and Add Description. Click Save to save the Geography Set.
- The popup windows / tabs can be closed or minimized by clicking the arrows provided
- User can get a table view of the data by clicking on the table icon
- User can export data in CSV format or into an Excel file by clicking the export button on the table or on the geography set
