In this past sprint, much of our effort was dedicated to updating data vintages within Popcast at Home, refining the Popcast map UI and saved view advanced filtering options. Our upcoming product, Popcast Anytime, has been the main efforts of the work and we look forward to releasing it in the very near future. (knock on wood next sprint! 😁)

Improvements to Population Profile Visits Reporting in Placecast

Here's what's changed:

Enhanced Clarity: Previously, when users viewed the entire audience (All Persons) without a specific population profile set, the Population Profile Visits and Population Profile % Visits columns were left empty, causing confusion.
Updated Display: In response to user feedback, we've made adjustments. Now, when your target population encompasses everyone, these columns display 100% of the population. While this may seem duplicative, it provides a more complete and less confusing view of the data.

Your reporting experience in Placecast is now more consistent and transparent, ensuring a clearer understanding of the data even when targeting the entire population.

Resolving DMA Polygon Data Display Issue

We addressed a DMA polygon data display issue in Popcast, ensuring a smoother experience. Here's what's new:

Quick Disable Feature: We've implemented a "Quick Disable" mechanism that resolves the problem of selecting a DMA geography type when attempting to draw a shape in your location of choice.

With this new "Quick Disable" feature, we're, ensuring that you only use the geography types: CBSA, State, Counties, & Postal Codes when drawing your polygons in Popcast. Your experience is now more error proof.

Enhanced View Management in Layers and Display Options

Here's what's new:

Load Saved View: This feature allows you to save and load your preferred views for ease of access.
View Limit Validation: To maintain optimal performance and organization, we've implemented a validation mechanism. When you attempt to save more than 50 views, you'll receive a notification indicating that you've reached the limit, prompting you to delete a saved view.

With this enhancement, your view management becomes more efficient and ensures that your workspace remains clutter-free. Enjoy seamless navigation and organization within Layers and Display Options.
