In this past sprint, much of our effort was dedicated to enhancing existing features with improvements to Population Explorer (Popcast) and increased interaction with the tap view. In the background we’re working on a new product to further enhance the Citycast experience focused on Places! Stay tuned.
Extended Message Duration for Export Limit Warning
IMXDEV-3532
- Message Persistence: Previously, when a user attempted to download more than 3 months of data, they received a warning message. However, this message would disappear quickly, often before the user had a chance to read it in its entirety.
- Extended Message Duration: In response to user feedback and to ensure that users have sufficient time to read and acknowledge the warning the warning message will remain visible until the user actively clicks the "ok" button to acknowledge it.
Dynamic Star Changing in Popcast Map View
IMXDEV-3530
- Removing Map View Stars: Previously, when you selected "Map View" in Popcast, a star icon would appear, zooming you into the specified area. However, once the star was displayed, there was no way to remove it without clearing all selections.
- Enhanced Interaction: We've addressed this issue by providing you with the ability to remove the star icon without the need to clear all selections. Now a simple hover over the “Map View” text for the interested geography brings the star to the screen. You can click on "Map View" or the dropper icon to zoom in you can click on the star and “Select” text to add/remove it from the selected display
Enhanced Composition Index Calculation in Population Library
IMXDEV-3608
- Index Calculation Against Specified Geographies: Previously, all composition index calculations were done against the entire United States, which could result in less precise insights.
- User-Driven Enhancement: In response to valuable user feedback, we've made adjustments. Now, index calculations are specifically tailored to the specified geographies you select. This refinement ensures that you receive even more precise targeting data, directly aligned with your cohort's population.
Enhanced Reporting with Population Profile Index in Placecast
IMXDEV-3498
- Population Profile Index Column: As a user, you now have access to the "Population Profile Index (vs. DMA)" column in Placecast reports.
-
-
- Index Value Against National Average: You can now compare the cohort's performance against the national average. An index of 1 represents average performance, while values above 1 indicate above-average performance, and values below 1 indicate below-average performance.
