This sprint sees us finally sharing some of the behind the scenes work on Placecast Dashboard that we’ve been working on for months. At this stage we’re considering this an Alpha release with much work already scheduled over the coming weeks and months to improve the functionality, but it’s already so useful and insightful there is no reason not to start sharing it. If you would like to have your Citycast account ungated to this new module, please talk to your customer success manager. We’ll have wider distribution and a public launch in the coming months. In the mean time you can also read more about Placecast Dashboard here.

Plan Limit Control
- Limit Enforcement: Users can now generate plans in either the sandbox or campaign, but there's a newly enforced limit. Users are not allowed to create plans in the campaign or sandbox if they exceed 100 plans.
This enhancement ensures better plan management and prevents an excessive number of plans from being generated, maintaining system efficiency and user experience.

Introducing an improvement to the organization of Income segments for a more user-friendly experience. Here's what's changed:
- Improved Income Segment Ordering: Previously, the order of Income segments seemed a bit scattered. Now, we've revamped the ordering process to make it more intuitive and structured.
- Ordering Logic: We've applied a logical ordering based on dollar values and ranges:
- The list starts with the first (or only) dollar value, listing them counting up.
- Dollar values are sorted from smallest to largest.
- If a segment has a less-than symbol (<) at the front, it appears first.
- Next, we display results with ranges, with the one having the smallest second number listed first and growing to the largest last number.
- Segments with a plus symbol (+) appear after the range results but before greater-than (>) results.
- The last result for a particular dollar value is the greater-than symbol (>) item.
With these improvements, Income segments are now presented in a clear and organized manner, making it easier for users to find and select the relevant segments for their needs. This will also ensure that as we add additional income segments they will be slotted into a logical location.

UI Enhancements for Saved MWorks Segments
- The audience year for all segment calls (Inventory and Popcast library) has been changed to 2023.
These UI enhancements provide a more seamless and efficient experience for users when working with saved MWorks segments and accessing different data products. This means you might run into a scenario where segments show up as disabled and unselectable but we’d rather do this then let you select it and it blow up on you.

Streamlined Access to Popcast
- Simplified Access: To enhance user experience and make it more straightforward to reach Popcast, we've updated the default behavior when clicking on the Explorer button in the left navigation.
For CityCast users (app.mworks.com), clicking on the Explorer button will now directly take them to Population Library/Popcast. We’ve heard the feedback that this is a more logical starting point for many users and it can be tricky to get to Popcast. This should make that much more obvious.

Updating Trademark to Registered Trademark (®) in Placecast Scenarios
- Trademark Update: We've replaced the TM symbol with the registered trademark symbol (®) throughout the Placecast Scenarios.
For any of you patent attorneys you now that this means we’ve finally been given our registered trademark for Placecast! We’re excited about this and wanted to update that in the system, and just in time for the Placecast Dashboard launch!
