Improved User Experience in Population Library
- Nonhisp to Not-Hispanic: We've revised "nonhisp" to "Not-Hispanic." This change enhances the readability of the dashboard, ensuring a more straightforward understanding of the data.

Enhanced Place Search Widget
- Auto-Complete Functionality: The Place Search widget now supports auto-complete for various fields, making it easier and quicker to find the information you need. You'll enjoy this feature when searching for Place Names, Cities, and more.
- Multi-Select Capabilities: To enhance your search precision, we've implemented multi-select options for specific fields. You can now select multiple Place Types, Industries, Brands, Counties, and more, allowing for a more refined search.
- Dropdown Menus: For fields like Place Type, Industry Categories, and Brand, we've introduced dropdown menus with search functionality. This ensures a user-friendly and efficient search process.
- Improved User Experience: With these enhancements, you'll experience a more user-friendly and intuitive search process. Finding and selecting places that match your criteria is now more convenient and accurate.
Placecast
Verbiage Enhancement in Placecast
- Change from "Lowest" to "Highest" Verbiage: In situations where Placecast only displays the top cohorts and some high-performing cohorts are described as "lowest" because no other cohorts in that group made the cut, we've made a change. The update ensures that the verbiage accurately reflects the high performance of these cohorts.
Improved Consumer Segment Display
- Consumer Segment Data Availability: We've introduced a feature where consumer segment charts will no longer be displayed if there's no data available for a specific group. This update ensures a more streamlined and relevant presentation of information.
Placecast Dashboard Navigation and Information Display Enhancements
In this feature release, we've made significant improvements to the Placecast Dashboard to enhance navigation and information display. Here's what's included:
- Sticky Navigation: We've introduced a sticky navigation feature for the Placecast Dashboard. Now, the selectable "tabs" have been moved up next to the list of places, providing more screen real estate for users to work with.
- Scrollable Content: Everything below the sticky navigation is scrollable, making it easier to access and view information.
- AlertNote: An AlertNote has been added to specific tabs within the dashboard. This AlertNote is displayed open when a user first visits the tab, providing essential information. In subsequent visits, it remains accessible as a tooltip at the bottom for reference.
- Consistent Data Display: All charts in the Placecast Dashboard now display data that reflects an average recent week, unless they explicitly use another date format. The definition of a "recent week" is based on a rolling average over the current week and each of the previous five weeks, separately calculated for each place. This ensures users have access to current and relevant data.
Default Selection for Place Set(s) in Select Places Wizard
In this feature release, we've introduced a user-friendly enhancement in the Placecast Dashboard. Now, when users access the Select Places Wizard, the default selection will be the "Place Set(s)" tab. This change is designed to streamline the user experience, particularly for users who frequently work with specific place sets
Streamlined Pie Chart Legends in Placecast Dashboard
In this feature release, we've made improvements to the Placecast Dashboard by optimizing the legends in pie charts based on specific user feedback. Previously, pie chart legends included counts, making them appear crowded. Now, we've simplified the legends for a cleaner and more user-friendly experience.
- When users switch to the expanded view, legends show the ranges and corresponding data.
Placecast Dashboard Header Update
- We've updated the header in the Placecast Dashboard from "By Income" to "By Household Income" for improved clarity and accuracy. This change ensures that users have a clear understanding of the data being presented, enhancing the overall user experience.
- Also we've updated the header in the Placecast Dashboard from "Types of Alcoholic Beverages Drink" to "Type of Alcohol Consumed Most Often" for enhanced clarity and accuracy.
Placesets Remove/Delete Functionality
- Remove Icon: We've added a remove icon to the right corner of each Placeset row, making it easy for users to initiate the removal process.
- Delete Confirmation Popup: Clicking the remove icon triggers a confirmation popup, which provides the user with options to "Delete" or "Cancel."
- Delete Functionality: Selecting "Delete" from the confirmation popup removes the Placeset and immediately refreshes the list, allowing users to efficiently manage their Placesets.
- Cancel Option: Selecting "Cancel" closes the popup without making any changes, ensuring users can review their choices before proceeding.
